3D Curved Screen

The Pulse X uses a curved display that wraps around the front of the device, a design Geek Bar introduced as an industry first. The screen shows e-liquid level, battery charge, and active mode in real time, with animated visual effects that change depending on the selected mode. Regular Mode displays star-themed animations; Pulse Mode shows a more intense constellation display. The screen activates on draw and sleeps when idle to conserve battery.

Regular Mode and Pulse Mode

Modes are toggled with the slide switch on the underside of the device. The same switch controls airflow, adjusting draw resistance from tight (mouth-to-lung) to open (direct-lung). The 3D screen confirms which mode is active.

Dual Vertical Mesh Coil

The Pulse X uses dual vertical mesh coil elements, the same coil architecture across the Geek Bar Pulse series. The vertical orientation draws e-liquid to the coil more efficiently, while the dual mesh design heats it across a larger surface area for even vapour production. The result is consistent flavour and vapour density from the first puff through to the last, with minimal risk of dry hits as the tank runs low.

Quick Charge: 80% in 20 Minutes

The 820mAh battery reaches 80% charge in approximately 20 minutes via USB-C. This is a meaningful upgrade over the Pulse 9000's 650mAh battery, both in total capacity and charge speed. Recharging will still be needed multiple times over the life of the device since the 20mL tank outlasts a single battery charge, but the quick charge time keeps downtime minimal.
