ABB DC Switch. Isolator for Photovoltaics with Maximum voltage 1000V and 32A

A DC switch that will operate on load is required for safe isolation of photovoltaic panels. The ABB DC-Isolator is din-rail compatible with a maximum DC Voltage of 1000V. The present automation device is suitable for 32A DC load. 

APPLICATIONS

The DC Switch is an important accessory in any photovoltaic application. The user disconnects safely the PV panels under load for repair or maintenance.

For the PV industry, the ABB DC switches are safe and reliable. The S802PV-M25 with a maximum DC voltage of 650V DC and OTDC32F3PV with 1000V DC are switch disconnectors to be installed downstream of solar photovoltaic strings. 

They are fed from both sides with interchangeable terminals. The OTM range is the best way for isolating PV installations and the inverters on the DC side. It is the ideal protection device for the maintenance of PV plants covering voltages up to 1000V DC (750V DC for the OTM series).
