Designed by Simon Legald, Phantom is a series of sculptural lamps made from a special semi-transparent resin. Built on a steel skeleton, each shade is formed by spraying thin threads of flame-retardant resin in tightly spaced layers, gradually building volume much like how a silkworm spins its cocoon. Many layers of threads form the full lampshade and give it a textured, elegant finish. The steel structure remains subtly visible through the resin, highlighting the craftsmanship behind the lamp.

This process creates a softly diffused glow and a voluminous silhouette reminiscent of classic chandeliers while maintaining a contemporary character. The lamps emit an indirect, diffused light that adds warm and atmospheric illumination to the surrounding space.

The soft ivory colour and sculptural silhouette give the lamp an understated elegance, allowing it to stand out without overwhelming the space. Whether used on its own or arranged in a cluster, the Phantom Pendant Lamp makes a statement in any interior.
