The Serrated Shark is the result of a collaboration between designer Fly and Ti. More than a simple EDC tool, it combines premium materials, mechanical aesthetics, and shark-inspired design language into a compact folding pry bar built for everyday use.

Inspired by the streamlined silhouette of a deep-sea shark, the Serrated Shark blends Böhler M390 steel, TC4 titanium, and cyber-mechanical styling into a tool that is equally functional, collectible, and satisfying to handle.

Whether on your desk, in the workshop, outdoors, or in your pocket, the Serrated Shark is designed to be ready whenever you need it.

Why "Serrated Shark"?

Sharks have always fascinated us.

They combine elegance and power, moving through the ocean with confidence and precision. Their shape is aggressive yet controlled, powerful yet refined. That balance became the foundation of this project.

When closed, the Serrated Shark resembles a shark gliding beneath the surface. When opened, every detail reveals the inspiration behind its design.

This wasn't about making a shark-shaped tool. It was about seamlessly integrating the spirit of a shark into a practical EDC platform.

Shark-Inspired Pry Bar Head

The pry tip draws inspiration from the profile of a shark's snout.

Rather than exaggerating the form, we focused on creating a clean and restrained silhouette that conveys strength through proportion and structure.

The pry bar body is machined from 4mm-thick Böhler M390 steel, providing exceptional rigidity, wear resistance, and long-term durability.

Dorsal Fin Deployment Disc

One of the shark's most recognizable features is its dorsal fin.

On the Serrated Shark, this element has been transformed into a uniquely shaped deployment disc. More than a visual detail, it creates an intuitive and enjoyable opening experience.

A gentle push is all it takes—like a predator rising from the depths.

Five Gill Grooves

The five traction grooves on the handle are inspired by shark gills.

These grooves are not merely decorative. They provide additional grip and control during use while reinforcing the biological character of the design.

Good design should do more than look good—it should actively improve the user experience.

Torpedo Pocket Clip

The pocket clip adopts a torpedo-inspired profile, reinforcing the deep-sea and cyber-mechanical theme.

It gives the Serrated Shark a distinct visual identity while maintaining practical everyday carry performance.

Side Fin Pivot Design

The pivot area incorporates subtle side-fin styling cues.

When folded, the tool presents a smooth, flowing profile. When opened, the pivot structure creates a strong visual focal point and enhances the overall sense of motion.

This balance between utility and visual storytelling is central to the design.

For those seeking something even more distinctive, an optional ZircuTi hardware kit is available.

Each ZircuTi component features naturally unique patterns created during the manufacturing process, ensuring no two sets are exactly alike.

Classic Black Gold

The most aggressive and visually striking version.

Black PVD-Coated surfaces contrast with gold titanium accents, creating a bold cyber-shark aesthetic that perfectly reflects the original design vision.

Stonewash Gray

A more understated and utilitarian option.

The Black Sandblasted & Stonewashed finish develops character over time while hiding wear from everyday use. Gold titanium accents add just enough contrast without compromising the rugged appearance.

Silver

Clean, modern, and refined.

The pearl-blasted finish provides a soft metallic texture, while anodized titanium accents add a touch of color and futuristic styling.
