• Katyayani Bt Bio Larvicide is a liquid bio-insecticide containing Bacillus thuringiensis, targeting a wide range of larval pests. It disrupts the digestive system of insect larvae, causing them to stop feeding and ultimately die.

Mode of Action:

• Spore Ingestion: Ingested by larvae.
• Spore Activation: Protein crystals are released in the gut.
• Protoxin Activation: Proteins are activated into toxins.
• Binding & Pore Formation: Toxins bind to gut cells, causing pore formation.
• Cell Lysis: Cell membranes burst, leading to death.

Application & Dosage:

• Gardening: 5-10 ml/L of water
• Agriculture: 1-2 liters/acre

Precautions:

• Apply 2-3 days before chemical pesticides.
• Use above 18°C, ideally in the evening.
• Reapply every 10-15 days for ongoing control.
