In the traditional technique to the thangka brocade, the upper area is around half the height of the lower section. Two inner cords (usually red and yellow, representing a rainbow) are utilised around the main thangka, and their width is roughly half that of the outer sides. Stitching is done just adjacent to the inner side of the cords using white ornamental thread. On the outermost side, the red ornamental cord is used to stitch the entire brocade.The front veil is a solid yellow color . There are two red ribbons hanging from the top (the lower end tapers and points).An additional rectangle with motifs or a coloured pattern might be placed in the centre of the bottom base. It is generally beneficial to use four colours in brocade for expanding, pacifying, magnetising, and conquering.
