Which Thickness Do I Need?

Standard (4.5mm) — $50 suits most Australian travellers. If you're on sealed roads, well-maintained dirt roads, and occasional gravel — this is all the protection your Starlink Mini needs. It handles normal road debris, light hail, and UV degradation with ease. Most of our customers choose Standard.

Xtreme (6.0mm) — $60 is for harsh conditions. If you're regularly pushing through scrub, driving rough station tracks, working in hail-prone regions, or your dish is mounted low where it cops more debris — the extra 1.5mm of polycarbonate makes a real difference. Popular with farmers, mining contractors, and anyone who puts their gear through serious punishment.

Both versions share the same critical 10mm air gap that prevents thermal shutdown, use identical UV-stabilised clear polycarbonate that won't affect your signal, and include all mounting hardware. The only difference is thickness and weight (426g vs 534g).
