About the Artist

Marie, also known as Kattvalk, is an artist, content creator, and small business owner from Sweden, best known for her colourful and whimsical illustrations. She draws inspiration from nature, exploring the tiny worlds and hidden details found there. Her art often features plants, mushrooms, cats, and other charming creatures, frequently with a magical or witchy twist.

Never one to limit herself to a single medium, Marie enjoys working with markers, paint pens, coloured pencils, pastels, ink, digital art, and more. However, watercolour holds a special place in her heart. She loves the way the paint flows through water, creating organic patterns and textures, a process she finds both relaxing and meditative.
