The Multipanel Type Y Last Corner Profile is a specialised aluminium trim designed to solve the common problem of fitting the final panel when cladding a full room. Unlike standard internal corners that require panels to be slotted in from both sides, the Type Y profile allows the final panel to be pushed onto the face of the first panel already on the wall.

Available in lengths of 2450mm and colours of Black, White, Satin Silver and Polished Silver.

• Design: It features a curved fascia that perfectly matches the Type A Internal Corner profile.
• Function: One of the back flanges found on a standard internal corner is removed, allowing the profile to connect the 4th panel to the 1st panel without complex sliding maneuvers.
• Compatibility: Designed specifically for 11mm thick wall boards, such as the Multipanel Classic, Tile, and Linda Barker collections.
• Protection: Provides a watertight seal and protects the panel edges from water ingress in high moisture areas like bathrooms and kitchens. 

Installation Steps

1. Preparation: Measure and cut the profile to length using a hacksaw or mitre block.
2. Sealing: Apply a bead of silicone sealant into the channel of the profile where the panel will sit.
3. Fitting the Profile: Attach the Type Y profile to the cut edge of your final panel.
4. Final Placement: Apply Multipanel high grab adhesive (sold separately) to the back of the panel and push it into position so the profile meets the face of the first panel in the room.
5. Finishing: Clean away any excess silicone immediately for a neat finish.
