Communication Port of Solar Inverter
All off-grid and hybrid inverters are equipped with a serial communication port. Our new inverters come with an RJ45 COM port for easy communication. The older models use the classic RS232 port.
Compatible with Victron Smart Shunt Resistors
For precise current and voltage measurements, Solar Assistant is fully compatible with Victron Smart Shunt resistors (500mA and 1000mA). Simply connect using a VE.Direct to USB cable. It’s a plug-and-play setup—no programming needed!
