Carter Bowl stood at 1501 South Lemon Avenue in Fullerton, California. Opening during the 1950s bowling boom, it anchored suburban social life on the Lemon Avenue corridor. Fullerton families and league bowlers built routines and friendships there that outlasted the lanes themselves.
Part of our Retro Bowling collection, featuring the defunct alleys of yesteryear.
