Installation Notes

The SHAVED-40 kit is a universal 12V system that can be installed in virtually any vehicle. The receiver should be mounted inside the cabin to protect it from moisture, while solenoids can be mounted near latch mechanisms using the included brackets and cables.

Standard setup: Pulls directly on latch mechanism arm.
Reverse pull setup: Uses cable looped around pulley for inverted latch orientation.

⚙️ Wiring Guidelines:

• Connect white wire to driver door solenoid; yellow wire to passenger door solenoid.

• Black solenoid wire to ground on vehicle body.

• Receiver red wire to +12V fused power; black wire to chassis ground.

• Mount an emergency backup switch outside the cabin for manual override.

SPAL includes all necessary hardware for mounting, but backup mechanical release is strongly recommended for safety.
