The Dauntless Manufacturing Hiker is a semi-custom fixed blade built in North Carolina using CNC machining, controlled heat treatment, and in-house finishing. This version is the Blade Show Atlanta 2023 exclusive configuration in 20CV steel with Micarta scales, and it does not come up often. CPM-20CV is a high-wear-resistance stainless steel that holds an edge exceptionally well and handles field conditions without demanding much maintenance in return. The Tanto profile gives you a reinforced tip and strong blade geometry built for penetrating cuts and hard utility work where a thicker tip and a sharp primary edge are the priorities.

The Hiker platform features heavy jimping for grip, an unchamfered notch on the Tanto profile for striking a ferro rod, full tang construction throughout, and a precision-formed Kydex sheath built in-house at Dauntless. This knife includes a glow-in-the-dark bead lanyard and a certificate of authenticity. No box.

The Tanto profile has a reinforced tip and strong geometry for piercing and heavy use. It suits tactical tasks and hard utility work where a thick blade and a sharp knife edge are priorities. On the Hiker platform, the Tanto also features an unchamfered notch on the spine for striking a ferro rod.

CPM-20CV is a high-vanadium stainless steel known for exceptional wear resistance and edge retention. It holds a sharp edge through extended hard use and resists corrosion well in field conditions. On the Hiker platform it is an ideal pairing for a knife that is meant to be carried and used hard.
