Before Installation Reminder

✅ Ensure that any electrical plugs in the area are covered or disconnected.

✅ Ensure that the existing plumbing is up to code.

✅ Acquire and install a pressure regulator with your system.

Step-by-Step Installation Guide of NuvoH2O Manor Trio System - Iron + Carbon Replacements Cartridges

Step 1: Ensure the water main is turned off.

Step 2: Attach the mounting bracket to the wall studs using a stud finder.

Step 3: Unpack the system and remove the filter and cartridge from the housing. Check inside for any loose foam, plastic, or packaging materials.

Step 4: Position the filter side of the head near the inlet pipe and attach the head to the mounting bracket. Make sure the system is installed vertically with the blue head at the top. Do not install the system upside down.

Step 5: If necessary, install a pressure regulator (E) before the NuvoH2O system, setting it to 45-65 PSI to protect the system from potential pressure spikes that could cause damage and leaks.

Step 6: Install a bypass according to the provided diagram.

Step 7: Wrap the connections with 3-4 layers of Teflon tape to seal them.

Step 8: Use flexible hoses to connect the inlet pipe to the inlet port on the system head and the outlet port of the system head to the outlet pipe. Not using flexible hoses could lead to water leakage.

Step 9: Lubricate the O-rings at the top of the housing sump with the included lubricant.

Step 10: Remove the protective plastic wrap from the cartridge and filters before placing them back into the housing.

Step 11: Insert and seat the cartridge and filter into the sump. Ensure the small, round holes on the side of the water-softening cartridge are at the top. Refer to the cartridge replacement instructions for further details.

Step 12: Attach each sump (with the filters and cartridge inside) to the head by rotating them counterclockwise and securing them with the provided wrench. Note: The order of the filters will vary based on your filtration choice:

✅ Carbon Filter ➡ Iron Filter ➡ Water Softener

Step 13: Loosen the pressure release valves on top of the heads using a screwdriver. Do not remove the valves, just loosen them.

Step 14: Open the first bypass valve (A) to allow the sumps to fill with water. Once water leaks from the pressure release valves at the top of the heads, tighten them to close (B). Avoid overtightening.

Step 15: Close the first bypass valve (A) and let the cartridge sit in the housing without water flow for one hour. Open the main valve (C) to allow water to flow through the household while the filter and cartridge sit idle.

Step 16: After one hour, close the top bypass valve (C) and slowly open the first and last bypass valves (A & D) to allow water to flow through the system.
