Nepeta x faassenii 'Purrsian Blue'  - Purrsian Blue Catmint

Purrsian Blue Catmint is a compact herbaceous perennial with serrated aromatic grey-green foliage.  The large spikes of sky blue flowers with smoky blue calyces spikes that bloom in late spring and through summer.  In southern states grows best with afternoon shade and dry to medium well-drained  soils.  Has good drought tolerance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Water regularly.  Shear flower spikes after flowering to promotes continuous bloom.  Must be propagated by division.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Rock Gardens, Hedges, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS: Blue Fescue, Butterfly Weed, Rudbeckia
