The built-in peel-off function includes a silver plate that folds down onto the tape. Before cutting, simply peel the cover tape from right to left—this ensures it’s slightly lifted when the new reel begins, preventing adhesion issues and improving the splice.

Compatible with AFT, DSBL and DSPX splice tapes, this tool also includes a patented shift mechanism for adjustable pitch cuts, and handles carrier tapes from 8mm to 32mm wide.
