The 505FV series design allows you to upgrade your vintage Fender tuners to a more modern style locking tuner without making ANY modifications to your guitar. The overlapping ear design allows you to utilize the existing screw holes and the use of push in bushings, rather than screw in, means no modifications have to be made to the post holes.
Please Note: Grover tuning machines produced prior 1985 use different specifications for threading and shaft sizing. Current production replacement parts are not interchangeable on vintage (pre-1985) Grover tuning machines.
