An out of this world dial graces this Special Edition version of the Czapek Antarctique. For this special watch, a cut of Gibeon Meteorite received multiple coats of translucent green lacquer which is later polished to perfection. Additionally, the applied indices and hour and minute hands are treated with luminescent material.

The reverse side reveals Czapek's automatic winding in-house caliber SXH5 with approximately 60 hours of power operating at 4 Hz. I find the movement architecture as one of the most beautifully executed automatic winding movements in the industry. The micro rotor is micro indeed, but the choice of platinum does an excellent job of keeping the watch fully wound while on the wrist.

The steel bracelet has a release feature between the lugs allowing for the bracelet to be easily removed in favor of the additional green rubber strap.

The stainless steel case measures 40.5mm x 10.6mm x 45mm lug-to-lug. Complete with Box & Papers dated January 31st, 2025. The bracelet is currently adjusted to accommodate a 7.25+" wrist and two additional links are included. Also included is an OEM Czapek green rubber strap and folding buckle as seen in the wristshot.
