DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Adults & Children over 12 years: Up to tube. Children: aged 6-12 years: Up to 1/2 of a tube and 2-5 years: 1/4 and 2 month - 1 Year: 1/8 of a tube. Few adults may need more than one tube. Maximum amount is limited up to two tubes (60 gm of cream). Ensure that the skin is clean, dry and cool. Apply ELEMITE CREAM on the skin over the whole body excluding the head in adults (including the face, neck, scalp and ears in children & the elderly); paying special attention to areas between fingers, toes, wrists, axillae, thighs, external genitalia and buttocks. Care must be taken to avoid applying ELEMITE CREAM to areas close to the eyes and in the vicinity of mouth where it would be licked off. The cream should be left on for 8-12 hours and should then be removed by thorough washing

CONTRA-INDICATIONS Known allergy to Permethrin.

PRECAUTIONS & WARNINGS: Avoid contact with eyes & mouth. ADVERSE EFFECTS: Skin discomfort such as burning or stinging may occur. Other sign and symptoms of irritation, oedema, eczema, rash, pruritus are natural history of scabies. Pregnancy and Lactation: Limited data on use of ELEMITE in pregnancy. It is not known whether permethrin is excreted in breast milk.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: No known interactions with permethrin. TREATMENT OF OVER DOSAGE: In case of accidental ingestion of ELEMITE, please seek immediate medical attention.
