From Shimano's flagship XTR 9100 range comes the BR-M9120 4 Piston Trail Disc Brake and it is everything you would expect from the XTR pedigree. Aesthetics, performance and top level quality is oozing from these brakes. Ideally suited to trail and Enduro riders looking for a high performance, lightweight package.

The Brake Lever is designed to perform with increased high-temperature capabilities and a shorter free stroke for fast engagement. It features I-Spec EV for easy cockpit setups and a variety of mounting positions. The caliper features four pistons for increased braking power and heat distribution. It has a one-piece aluminium design, which has better thermal properties compared to previous designs.

Are the brakes bled? The brakes are Shimano J-Kit which means they are fully bled in the factory and the brake line is disconnected at the lever end to allow for easier installation on frames with internal routing. The brake line is capped and the lever plugged and the olive is shipped inside the brake lever. If you don't need to trim your brake lines you can reattach the brake line without the need to bleed your brakes.
