The Mill-Max 3305 series is the latest receptacle specifically designed to make mechanical key switches hot-swappable. The new 3305-X is designed with an ultra-thin retention shoulder so it sits nearly flush to the board surface, much lower than previous models. The 3305-0 variant is the shortest among the 3305 series, reducing the risk of touching the bottom case of metal keyboards and shorting out the circuit.

Like all Mill-Max receptacles, the 3305-X series utilizes a beryllium copper contact clip to make durable, low-resistance connections with mated leads and maintain those high-quality connections after thousands of cycles (plug/unplug).
