Original to c.1935, this late Art Deco diamond three-stone ring is beautifully made. Set with three round transitional-cut diamonds - the last of the hand-facetted diamond cuts and the direct precursor of the modern round-brilliant - these diamonds have the proportions and symmetry required for the most brilliant of sparkles and fire. They have a combined weight of 1.23ct, with the flanking diamonds subtly smaller than the central, which lends the ring a balanced and flattering fit on the finger. The diamonds are claw set in an open-back platinum setting which features the most gorgeous pierced gallery with intricate fleur-de-lys motifs and scallop detail. To shoulders which are ever so slightly raised and seamlessly flow to a solid 18ct yellow gold shank.
Excellent: all stones are secure and well set, with no damage to the mount. Professionally polished and carefully inspected by our workshop, ready to wear and enjoy.
Unless stated otherwise, gem weights and specifications are estimated (assessed in mount).
