The Tom Dixon Soft Shade Light presents a natural and understated aesthetic. Inspired by the near-spherical surfaces of planets, the design captures their soft, rounded form through a diffused shade supported by a welded steel frame. The shade is formed by spraying a cocoon of TPU, a durable and flexible material that combines the qualities of plastic and rubber.

The softly textured surface subtly reveals the steel frame, highlighting the contrast between the rigid structure and the gentle, organic form. The pendant emits a warm ambient glow, creating a soft and inviting atmosphere. Designed for use with standard Edison Screw (E27) bulbs, it is also compatible with modern smart bulbs, allowing adjustment of colour temperature, brightness and dimming. It comes with a generous 3.5 m white fabric cable and matching fitting, ensuring easy suspension from the ceiling.

Available in two sizes, it can be used as a single pendant above a dining table or arranged in multiples to create a large, dynamic cluster.
