Handcrafted and blown, this vase boasts a filigree texture crafted from a carefully calibrated selection of characteristic reeds. The technique, a longstanding tradition in Murano, sees these reeds laid flat in a pattern designed by the master before being placed in the oven and allowed to collapse slightly. Then, a lump of hot glass is rolled in the reeds before being blown and shaped to create a distinctive, vibrant vase perfect for decorating in the spring or adding a splash of color to any light-hued table setting. This delicate and unique work of art is signed by the master.
