Our Titanium Cleats are engineered with an innovative internal lattice structure, or 'gyroid'. This design retains the strength and rigidity of the cleat while dramatically slashing its weight. In fact, our cleats weigh HALF as much as the standard cleat set. This weight reduction of 25-30 grams per set offers a significant edge, particularly in Cyclocross (CX) events where running is key. Important: While our Titanium Cleats packaging specifies a maximum torque of 6Nm, our thorough testing has demonstrated that a torque of up to 10Nm is safe and may even be needed for extremely hard carbon fiber soles. We advise applying grease to the threads and under the screw head during assembly to ensure consistent screw tension for the given torque. If your soles are harder, we recommend re-tightening the cleats after 24 hours or your first ride, as the cleat pins may reduce screw tension by impinging into the shoe sole.
