The Hit-Air H2 Vest, is certified to the Equestrian Standard NF S72-800:2022, the first and currently only standard, adopted in France, specifically for the manufacture of airbags for equestrian sports.

The H2 features the tailored style and fit of the Hit Air Advantage Vest with additional inner padding in the back, hips, neck, and rib cage area.  It features our new All-In-one Adjustable Bungee-Saddle Strap combination.

Developed and tested for over 10 years, Hit-Air has received numerous awards including a Gold Medal at the World Exhibition of Inventions in Belgium in the Safety Protection Life Saving Division and the 2023 Chronicle of the Horse Readers' Choice Award. Hit-Air is the most tested air vests on the market. Tests have shown their vests and jackets reduce head acceleration by more than 50% and body acceleration by over 70%.

This vest is popular with show jumpers, hunters, and equitation riders. It offers a slimmer fit that looks great over show coats. Also works well on customers with longer torsos.

Vests come with one of each of the following:

• Built-in CE-certified Back Protector

All vests need a saddle strap attachment to function properly. The saddle strap connects to the stirrup bars, then the vest is connected to the saddle strap. For the western coil strap, you would loop this over the saddle horn. Failure to use the Hit-Air saddle strap to connect your vest to your saddle may result in your vest failing to perform properly in the event of a fall. 

All vest models are compatible with all lanyard styles. CO2 Cartridge sizes are vest model and size specific. Please, make sure you are buying the correct size CO2 cartridge for your vest.
