These rare beauties were made in the early 1900's in Venice. Traded into Africa, they have seen decades of wear, traveled many continents, and will be around for hundreds of years to come. Why not join in the story line and let them grace you with their presence for a while?!

Mold-pressed, and made to look like coral, they are a beautiful rich red. Grooves and lines pit the surface, giving an even more tribal, textured appearance. These beads are not completely round, but they are slightly oval shaped. And they have diagonal edges, so they neatly stack on a necklace.

They measure 14mm around x 38mm on the longest side (1.5").
The hole is 3mm.

Very unusual beads that I have never seen before I came across this current collection. My supplier called them "Red Millefiore." Though they are not made using the millefiore technique, they are known as millefiore beads in the trade. This name is slightly misleading, but sometimes trade names get stuck!
