A Bogdan model 0 salmon reel, set up for desirable LHW. 3 1/4" diameter with a 1 3/8" spool width. Capacity for holding a #9 line with 150 yards of backing. This was the singlehanded workhorse model in the Bogdan catalog. Fair used condition. This reel has been extensively used with heavy rash on the rims, some scratches around the takeapart screws and general cosmetic wear throughout. There is also some corrosion to the interior of the spool (perhaps from saltwater?) though the reel appears functionally sound with no mechanical issues that I could find. The topscrew for the drag adjustment lever appears missing though a set screw seems to hold the lever on just fine, and I suspect that it will continue to do so (worth keeping half an eye on or having a machinist friend make a replacement, but probably also fine to just keep fishing "as is"). Champagne anodized frame and spool, with a clear anodized foot, serpentine handle, oil port cover, poacher's knob, and Bogdan nameplate. Black sideplates. Double action 2:1 retrieve and the famous Bogdan double brake design. No pouch. This is a good option for someone who wants a LHW Bogdan to fish at a reasonable price and not worry about putting any wear and tear on it.
