The Boss SDE-3 brings the vintage digital character of the iconic Roland SDE-3000 to a compact pedal, offering wide-ranging versatility and modern features for today's musicians. With the same core features that made the SDE-3000 a favorite among influential guitarists of the '80s, the SDE-3 offers creative possibilities with its powerful Offset control for dual-delay textures.

Vintage Color and Character

The SDE-3 captures the rich, warm delay tones of the original SDE-3000, providing independent Rate and Depth knobs for unique modulation. The Hi Cut control allows you to shape high frequencies for creating everything from vintage delay tones to more ambient, lo-fi soundscapes.

Offset Magic

The Offset control introduces a second delay line for creative soundscaping. You can set the second delay between 1-100 ms longer than the primary delay for doubled delays, or adjust it to create rhythmic effects that sync with your music.

Multiple Output Modes

Designed for maximum flexibility, the SDE-3 offers multiple output modes, including mono, stereo, wet/dry, and dry mute. Whether you're in the studio or on stage, the SDE-3 can handle any configuration with ease.

Modern Workflow

Equipped with tap tempo, MIDI input for clock sync, and external footswitch or expression pedal control, the SDE-3 delivers a modern workflow for performers. With a simple press-and-hold on the pedal switch, you can instantly enable tap tempo for synchronized delays.
