Known as CruCarta, it started as a limited Sprint Run on the Shaman and proved popular enough that Spyderco brought it to several full-line models. The Manix 2 XL in CruCarta is the largest expression of this treatment. The 3.85" leaf-shaped blade is full-flat ground from CPM CRU-WEAR tool steel, a high-vanadium alloy known for exceptional edge retention and toughness. Brown canvas Micarta handle scales are sanded smooth and left unpolished, designed to patina naturally with use and handling over time. The Ball Bearing Lock provides ambidextrous lockup and closing without placing fingers in the blade path. Made in Golden, Colorado. 5.2 oz.
