These one-of-a-kind Howlite-Turquoise pieces have a story to tell! Each stone was handpicked from this year’s Tucson Gem Show. After completing this mini collection, it came to my attention that these stones are not genuine turquoise. To make a lonnnngg story short – these stones were mislabeled and were purchased under the assumption they were ‘American Mined Turquoise’.  Due to these stones being treated and dyed to resemble turquoise, each item in this mini collection is heavily discounted to only reflect the silver work. [There is one item in this collection that is true, genuine turquoise.]

Please note there is absolutely nothing wrong with these stones. Unfortunately, dying Howlite is a fairly common practice and about 90% of turquoise jewelry you see people wearing is most likely dyed Howlite aka *fake turquoise*. Please refer to the recent video posted on Instagram to see how to test your turquoise at home!
