Based on the requirements of our customers we developed this product to serve off-grid projects that require 2 inputs and 2 smart AC outputs with the power flow to be managed by CT sensors (Current Transformers). It sounds complicated but the inverter is user-friendly and the interface with your existing electrical switchboard is very easy to do. 

The Ultra-Max is the best-equipped solar inverter on the market, it has all the functions you will ever need for an off-grid system with grid or generator backup. 

Having two AC inputs will secure an uninterrupted AC power supply while the super-fast MPPT charger at 150A will top up the batteries efficiently and quickly even when the limited supply from the AC-Sources or Solar. 

In addition, Ultra-Max offers an additional AC output that enables the users to customise cut-off voltage, state of charger (SoC) percentage, discharge time and schedule on/off time.

Hybrid Mode with CT (Current Transformer/Sensor)

In case you want to integrate the inverter into the existing electrical installation, without interrupting the connection to the grid, the inverter can function in self-consumption mode (refer to page 50 of the manual).

Staying connected to the grid for Self-Consumption Operation

The single line diagram illustrates the classic operation of the inverter in ESS mode (energy storage system) that works in self-use mode without exporting power back to the grid. In this set up the ac-output of the inverter (off-grid) is not used.
