Christopher Farr unites heritage textile craftsmanship with contemporary design. The brand collaborates with artists, designers and their estates to produce handmade rugs that restore rug-making to the status of fine art. The design for the rug is based on Albers’ studies for a series of textile panels created in 1956 for a Jewish temple in Dallas, Texas. The patterns exemplify Albers’ radical approach to textile design. The Temple Berry rug is produced in association with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation.
