Please note that true Black Ebony is rarely pitch black. The natural color spectrum ranges from deep brown to a distinguished black-purple in older wood, or a warm yellow-brown in younger wood. We ship randomly based on natural availability, ensuring that every pendant is a unique surprise. The wood surface is nourished with a layer of Tung tree oil to promote longevity; this may carry a faint, natural scent upon arrival which will dissipate after a few days of wear.
