Intriguing Golden Yellow Libyan Desert Glass Pendant in Copper.

29 million years ago a mysterious silica-rich natural glass, called Libyan Desert Glass (LDG) was formed. Also known as Libyan Gold Tektite or Great Sand Sea Glass, this fascinating stone is found between sand dunes in western Egypt’s southwestern corner of the Great Sand Sea (modern day Sahara Desert, in what is Western Egypt and Eastern Libya), glittering as glass gems under the radiant desert Sun.  

This pendant has been antiqued, polished and sealed.
