Die Verkleidungsoberteil (unteres Teil) in mattem Finish aus Carbon für die Ducati V4 Streetfighter ersetzt das originale Bauteil unter Verwendung der originalen Befestigungspunkte.

Im Vordergrund stehen Gewichtsersparnis (in der Regel Einsparung von ca. 70% im Vergleich zum originalen Bauteil) und höhere Steifigkeit. Das Carbonteil wurde nach den neuesten Richtlinien im Autoklaven komplett aus Prepreg (siehe FAQ) Material gefertigt und im nächsten Schritt, wie bei uns üblich, zum Schutz gegen Umwelteinflüße mit einer klaren Kunststoffbeschichtung überzogen. Diese Kunststoffbeschichtung übertrifft den sonst üblichen Klarlacküberzug in der Schutzwirkung, Kratzfestigkeit und Beständigkeit enorm. Aber nicht nur technisch kann die Beschichtung punkten, sondern sie unterstreicht auch die dreidimensionale Wirkung der Carbonstruktur nochmals deutlich

The front fairing (lower part) in matt carbonfiber for the Ducati V4 Streetfighter is a direct replacement for the original component.

This front fender contributes mainly to weight saving on the motorcycle (up to 70% less) and a higher stiffness of the parts. Like all of our carbon fibre parts, it was made according to the latest protocols and industry standards and can be considered to encompass all aspects of current 'best of industry' practice. The part is made completely out of pre-preg carbon fibre materials using an autoclave. As with all our carbon parts, we use a clear plastic coating that not only improves the appearance, but also protects the carbon fibre from scratching and has a unique UV resistance.
