As the days get shorter, small animals look for valuable food in preparation for winter. In Lyttle Wood you earn points by collecting prey cards with the correct gang cards. Only the competition for the most valuable food in the forest is very high; everyone is after the same prey. The player who manages to obtain the best prey and the most points wins the game and can call himself king of the forest.

The players collect gang cards with different values. If you have two or more cards from the same gang, you may place them in front of you. You immediately receive a prey card in return. The cards earn points at the end of the game.

But you still have a long way to go for that. If an opponent lays down more cards of that suit than you currently have, you lose your set of cards again. The game ends as soon as one of the supply piles or a draw pile is empty. The player who has the most points at that moment wins the game.
