At No Context you make connections using random artwork from the amazing webcomic creator Mr. Lovenstein!

At the start of the game, each player is assigned one of up to 7 target images that they try to get the other players to guess to earn points! These images are selected from some of the most unforgettable panels from the Mr. range. Lovenstein.

In turn, players choose another panel from the comparison row and place it in one of the spaces on their game board. They place the card with the green check mark side up to indicate that their target image matches this card in some way, or with the red x side up to indicate that their target image matches this card in some way somehow does not match this card. Each player can repeat this process 3 times to give the other players some clues when guessing.

If at any time a player feels confident that he knows which target picture belongs to another player, he can place his corresponding numbered betting card face down on that player's betting spot. Players only have one copy of each betting spot, so make sure you choose your time well or know the risks if you go early.

Once all bets have been placed, players take turns revealing the guesses made about their card and which card was actually theirs. Correct bets earn points in the order they are placed, so players who wait too long could miss out on points even if they were correct. Be ready to explain yourself after the round is over, because hearing the thoughts behind why your friends made the connections they did is the most fun part of the game!
