Why use beef tallow as skincare?

Beef tallow rendered from the suet of 100% grass fed and finished cows is rich in vitamins A, D, K, E, B12, and conjugated linoleic acid, which has shown through research to be anti-inflammatory and detoxifying to our skin. Beef tallow’s lipid structure is also remarkably similar to that of human skin, so using tallow not only protects the skin’s barrier, but it is also recognized by the skin. In other words, it is a 100% bioavailable moisturizer that is noncomedogenic, antibacterial, nontoxic, and regenerative to our skin.

This balm is crafted with 100% grass fed and finished beef suet tallow, organic cold pressed olive oil, and essential oils of peppermint, rosemary, grapefruit, sweet orange, and cinnamon bark at 1% dilution. 

While this balm has a wealth of uses, we primarily use this as body moisturizer or facial moisturizer. The blend of essential oils in this balm are excellent for brightening and rejuvenating the skin.

**Due to the natural composition of this balm, please keep it away from moisture to prolong its shelf-life. This means make sure to apply with clean, dry hands, and do not leave it in a steamy bathroom.**
