The Elica technology achieves filtering thresholds of 80% against the market average of 60%. The ceramic-activated carbon filters will become saturated after a prolonged period of use, depending on the type of cooking and frequency with which the grease filters are cleaned. These odour filters can be regenerated every 2/3 months in an oven preheated to 200°C for one hour. Regeneration allows a maximum filter lifespan of 5 years.
