Made from hardened steel and accurately machined with smoothly beveled holes, this plate has 31 holes ranging from .236 (6mm) to .118" (3mm) in diameter (2 ga. - 8ga.). With 31 holes, there is a .1mm step down from 6mm down to 3mm, this consistent sizing allows for perfectly round wire out of gold, copper, silver, platinum, and more. Use with our without a draw bench - always anneal between pulls. It is also advised to use a lubricant such as Blade Butter to help the decrease friction during the process
