Developed for the Masamune razor from Tatara Razors, this top plate is perfect for those who want a smooth, controlled and efficient shave. With a negative blade exposure of -0.13 mm, the risk of irritation is reduced, making this plate ideal for sensitive skin and precise daily shaves.

The top plate is CNC-machined from high-quality AISI 303 stainless steel and then treated with a dark finish, giving it an exclusive and modern look. It matches perfectly with the dark Masamune handle and base plate, but can also be combined with other Tatara parts as desired.

This Masamune top differs from the Nodachi top by its lower blade exposure. For a more aggressive shave, you can easily replace it with the Nodachi top plate, which has 0.0 mm blade exposure.

Also available in a matte stainless steel version if you prefer a brighter look.
