Welcome to one of the wackiest plants we've ever had in, the Screw Pine! Not actually a pine and not even a palm, these plants are most akin to succulents in their care and are truly unique in their looks! Their long, skinny leaves grow in a spiral around their base and feature spiky red edges that can hurt a bit if you catch them going to wrong way. Mature and happy plants put out fruit that look like pine cones, hence their name.

These dudes are hardy buds that can tolerate a lot of different conditions. They prefer full sun (great for the patio!) but can live in indirect light as well. They liked to be watered a little more than succulents, but still want their soil to dry completely between waterings. Fertilize 3 times a year to encourage growth.

These guys will drop old leaves pretty frequently, so don't panic if you see some falling leaves!
