The smoothly tapered case, crafted of Seiko's new Ever-Brilliant Steel, for an exceptional level of corrosion resistance and a lighter, brighter finish, features hairline finishing to suggest a glacier. Designed to evoke the ocean depths at the point at which blue yields to darkness, the marine blue dial features a date calendar and LumiBrite hands and markers. The 26-jewel automatic movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of approximately 50 hours, and can be wound manually or automatically. Upgraded with a box-shaped anti-reflective sapphire crystal, this exceptional watch follows ISO standards for scuba diving to depths of up to 200 meters and includes a black one-way rotating elapsed timing bezel and screwdown crown and caseback, as well as a two reinforced silicone straps, in black and marine blue, paying tribute to the advanced original "TROPIC" design.
