Description
Cephalotus follicularis, also known as the Albany pitcher plant. It is a carnivorous plant species native to southwestern Western Australia. It has modified leaves that form distinctive, pitcher-like structures with slippery inner surfaces and tiny, downward-pointing hairs that trap and digest insects, providing essential nutrients in nutrient-poor soils.
