They don't make them like they used to! That couldn't be more true! I always like the idea of The Clatter Box, but I always hated the difficult set up, the possibility of it falling apart prematurely, or the problem of taking the knob out, or the disappointing fall apart with boxes made from less pieces (where the sides were connected with hinges). Every one I have ever tired had issues.

Except for this one. This Clatter Box has an exceptionally tight fit without a difficult set up. The release is instant, but only when you are ready. 7 separate panels in all.

This one, we are 95% sure was made by Jan's Magical but we are not 100% on that. No instructions, but once you know the effect, you will be able to set up the box.

A colored silk is removed from a decorated box held by a spectator. The Magician vanishes the silk, and claims the silk will reappear in the box. When the spectator attempts to open the box, it falls to pieces, with the silk attached to top of box dangling in spectator's hand. Made in thick metal sheet, for a big "clatter", in a durable finish with silks.
