The Parasound Halo A 23+ is a two-channel stereo power amplifier sized for installations where rack space and weight are considerations without sacrificing output capability. Occupying 3U of rack space in a chassis measuring 17.25 by 3.5 by 15.25 inches and weighing 27 lbs net, it delivers 160 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 240 watts per channel into 4 ohms with both channels driven, and 500 watts in bridged mono configuration into 8 ohms.

Peak current delivery is 45 amps per channel. Total harmonic distortion is rated at 0.06 percent. Signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 112 dB IHF A-weighted with the input shorted. Channel crosstalk is greater than 85 dB at 1 kHz and greater than 70 dB at 20 kHz. Both balanced XLR and unbalanced inputs are provided with a shared 29 dB gain stage. Power consumption ranges from under 1 watt in standby to a maximum of 800 watts, and the unit accepts 110-125 or 220-250 VAC selectable on the rear panel.
