 Pseuderanthemum alatum, commonly known as the Chocolate Plant, is a low-growing, tropical perennial with distinctive coppery-brown to chocolate-colored leaves that have silver patches. It produces small, purple flowers in racemes, often appearing in late spring or summer, and can reach a height of about 12-18 inches. While named for its foliage color, it is not related to edible chocolate.
