Inspired by the ebb and flow of the River Exe and rolling Devon countryside. 

The Ebford Bed is a testament to the harmony between craftsmanship and nature. Handmade from sustainable, organic and recycled materials, it proves that design can move with the natural world, not against it. Its flowing form mirrors the meandering path of the River Exe, from the peak of the moors to the wide, inviting mouth of the estuary. A bed shaped by nature, designed for sleep that dreams are made of. 

At the Ebford’s heart is its unmistakable headboard. Sculpted with deep padding made from organic, locally sourced wool and our signature recycled denim, the headboard provides a breathable, soft and comfortable surface to rest on. Breathability follows through to the sleek, low-profile base, which is upholstered with organic coir and wool to provide spring and ventilation, whilst it's distinctive legs are crafted from FSC-certified beech for durability and longevity. 

Please note that unless specified upon order, bed bases from a Small Double and larger come split in two (head to toe) as standard, for ease of delivery.

Available for upholstery in a range of fabrics - including our Organic House Linen and options made from cotton, wool, and hemp - (or even a fabric of your choice!), the Ebford Bed is the perfect way to bring nature’s grandeur into your home, your way. For the Ebford pictured above we used Khari fabric by Mark Alexander in colour "Vellum".

Please note, as all of our beds are made by hand, there may be a variance of up to 3cm (+ / -) on the above dimensions. If you need your beds to be precisely the dimensions requested (to fit in an alcove, for example), please let us know when you place your order. FSC® C185003
