Anodizing Option:

This option includes Type II Anodizing and is ideal for trailers that see use in salt water or harsh northern winter conditions. If you select the Anodizing Option, the Trailer Blocks in your order will receive the special treatment. The appearance and texture of the Trailer Block is changed as it undergoes the anodizing process. This surface technology is designed to help prevent galvanic corrosion between two dissimilar metals. The process artificially oxidizes the surface of the billet aluminium in a controlled manor which helps to electrically isolate the Trailer Block from the steel it is in contact with on the axle and leaf spring.
